Just thought I would remind Michelle of the size and degree of difficulty my cakes must stay beneath. And just so there won't be any question, I am including a photo of my latest creation, eaten just today. Yes, for those who don't recognize this dynamic duo, it is Bob and Larry. I have converted the whole family.

Mom, I've chosen my 26th Birthday Cake:
Yes, this is a cake. You can click on the picture for a link to the story. I thought I'd give you a few months' notice, since it looks slightly more involved than Emma's last year.
(I hope you know that I"m kidding)On an unrelated note, I would like to give a shout-out to Manda for appeasing the Vegas Richards and getting sealed on Friday the 22nd, so that both Buddy & I can be there. You're a good woman! THANK YOU! And if you need more proof that May 22nd is a great day, with the help of Wikipedia, I've compiled a short, and by no means exhaustive list, of wonderful things that happened on May 22nd:
1848: Slavery is abolished in Martinique.
1906: The Wright Brothers are granted US patent number 821,393 for their "Flying Machine".
1969: Apollo 10's lunar module flies within 8.4 nautical miles of the moon's surface.
1990: The Windows 3.0 operating system is released by Microsoft.
2004: Felipe, Prince of Asturias, of the Spanish Royal Family marries Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano (you'll share an anniversary with royalty!)
AND: it's International Biological Diversity Day. All in all, an excellent choice, and we're really looking forward to being there!
